Pecan Pie Dump Cake
Ingredients:
Pecan Mixture:
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup caramel topping
1/2 cup salted caramel topping
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cups pecans
Cake Topping:
1 box Butter Pecan Cake Mix (or White Cake Mix)
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9-inch baking pan with baking spray.
- Pecan Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the lightly beaten eggs, brown sugar, salted caramel topping, caramel topping, and melted butter. Mix well.
Fold in the pecans and stir until evenly combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Cake Topping:
In another bowl, mix the cake mix and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle the cake mix crumbles evenly over the pecan filling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350°F until the top is golden brown. Allow it to cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish:
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of crushed or halved pecans on top. Drizzle with salted caramel topping.
Notes:
For an extra touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
