“I’ve never heard them called by this name, but I’ve been making these for years and they’re always a hit!”
Ingredients:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
1/2 cup M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates
Directions:
Melt the chocolate and butterscotch:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
Combine the ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mini marshmallows, salted peanuts, pretzel sticks, and M&M’s.
Pour the melted chocolate and butterscotch mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated.
Form the candies:
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming small mounds or “candies.”
Chill the candies:
Refrigerate the Ragtag Candies for at least 30 minutes, or until they are firm and set.
Serve:
Once the candies are set, remove them from the refrigerator and serve. Enjoy!
