Easy Milk Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup (150 g) sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1 ½ cups (190 g) wheat flour (you can use all-purpose if you prefer)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup (120 ml) oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional but adds nice flavor)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
- Set your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Grease a round or rectangular cake pan with a bit of butter or oil, and dust it lightly with flour.
- Mix wet ingredients
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together using a whisk or hand mixer until pale and slightly fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Add the milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla, and mix until combined.
- Add dry ingredients
- In a separate bowl, sift together the wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until smooth and lump-free.
- Bake
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Optional finishing touch
- Warm a little milk mixed with sugar or condensed milk, and brush it over the warm cake for extra softness and a milky glaze. 😋

Would you like me to give you a “Milky Syrup” version (where you pour sweet milk over the cake, like tres leches style)? It’s super moist and delicious.
